Why we process your data

Personal data is foremost processed to ensure and provide you with a full functioning website including content such as downloads, blog content and contact forms. This also contains providing specific and targeted advertising tailored to your product interests. An exception applies to cases in which prior consent can’t be obtained for reasons of fact and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

How long we store your data:

We only store your personal data for as long as needed in order to fulfil contractual or legal obligations for which we collected the data. After that, we make sure to delete your personal data immediately, unless the data is needed till the expiry of the statutory limitation period for evidence purposes for claims under civil law or due to statutory retention obligations.

Our team makes sure to delete or block the personal data of the data subject as soon as the purpose of the storage is fulfilled.

No data except data obtained after permission given for our newsletter, downloads or contact points, will be retained after the termination of the agreement.

Micreos Food Safety B.V. processes personal data only if this is necessary to provide a functioning website and extension of our content tailored to your interests.

Each time our website is accessed, our systems automatically collects data and information from the computer system. It sounds like spying, but it’s regular information for improvements, such as:

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. Typically, this technical information will be erased or rendered unrecognizable at the latest after 31 days.

The data entered in the input mask of these contact points will be transmitted to us and saved. In addition to the specific input macro data, the IP address and the date and time of the request are collected and stored.

If you make use of one of our contact points, we reserve the right to store the data for three years. Reason of storage is purely to measure the profitability of our sales and create an overview for our marketing team (this only includes basic company information such as name and country). Data will be deleted as soon as there’s no purpose for collection of data.

For the personal data entered in the contact form and those sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with you has ended.

For the newsletter after permission was given, this is the case when you opt out through the link found in our mailing.
