IAFP 2022
PhageGuard will be joining the IAFP 2022 presenting new solutions in the reduce of listeria on hard boiled eggs and killing salmonella in pet food.
On Monday the 1st of August, PhageGuard will be present at the annual meeting of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) 2022 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There will be two posters presented about reducing listeria on hard boiled eggs and applications to kill salmonella in petfood. Through the day presentations are held about phages: our solution against foodborne pathogens. Ph.D. Siroj L. Pokharel will be zooming in on phage applications in animal meat proteins while Ph.D. Marc N. Pollack will speak about antimicrobial technologies such as phages.

The posters about ‘bacterio-phage as post-Lethality intervention to reduce listeria on hard boiled eggs’ and ‘killing salmonella in pet food’ are presented on Monday 1st of August at 8:30 AM till 6:15 PM in the Exhibit Hall at the Convention Center.
Siroj L. Pokharel Ph.D. presentation ‘biological antimicrobial case study: phage applications in animal meat proteins: chicken and pork, an industry approach’ will be on Monday 1st of August at 3:45 till 4:15 in room 301-303.
Marc N. Pollack’s Ph.D. presentation ‘advances in antimicrobial technologies and their translation into industry practices’ will be on Monday 1st of August at 4:15 till 4:45 PM in room 301-303.
